I recently had the absolute joy of attending the File Folder Folio Workshop at Ready Set Create 2025, and let me tell you—this project was a creative dream come true! The Magic Behind the Project
We dove into the brand-new Sizzix – 49 and Market Collection – Thinlits Dies – Snap and Swap File Folders, and wow—what a versatile and beautiful die set! These dies make it so easy to create a Traveler’s Notebook-style folio that’s both functional and fabulous. Whether you’re documenting memories, organizing creative ideas, or just playing with paper, this folio is a must-make.
To bring it all together, we used:
- Simple Stories – Simple Vintage Essentials Color Palette Cardstock Stickers (Item 22202) for those perfect vintage touches
- Rub-Ons Butterflies that added delicate, ethereal movement to each page
The result? A layered, interactive folio that feels like a little treasure chest of creativity. I loved how the butterflies seemed to flutter right off the pages—so dreamy!
Why I’ll Be Making This Again (and Again)
This workshop was not only fun, but also incredibly inspiring. The Snap and Swap system is intuitive and opens up endless possibilities for customization. I’m already dreaming up ways to adapt this project for future retreats and classes—maybe even a faith journaling version or a seasonal gratitude folio.
