I’m kicking off a brand‑new crafty adventure, and I’d love for you to join me! This journey is inspired by the amazing Debbie Hedges and The Art Impressions Way Facebook group. Debbie has such a heart for helping us actually use the @ArtImpressions stamps we’ve lovingly collected over the years. You know the ones — the sets we had to have… and then tucked away in a drawer.

Her mission?
Bring those stamps back to life.
Make creativity simple again.
And remind us that we don’t need perfection — we just need to start.

That’s why she created a monthly challenge called “Make It Simple Mondays.”
Each month brings a new theme, but the overall message stays the same:
Keep it simple. Don’t overthink it. You’ve got this.

🌵 January Challenge: 1 Container + 1 Flower + 1 Foliage

This month’s prompt is beautifully straightforward:
Choose one container, one flower, and one foliage to create a card or image.

I decided to take a fun twist and create ATCs (Artist Trading Cards) — tiny 2.5″ x 3.5″ canvases that are perfect for experimenting, sharing, and collecting.

Here are the Art Impressions sets I used for January:

  • 4869 – WC Small Container Set
  • 5528 – Desert Succulent Set
  • 4763 – Southwest Set
  • 5073 – Bible Foliage Set
  • 5418 – Bible Foliage Set 2

Febraury Sets:

6094 – Country Mailbox Set

4607 – Flowering Mailbox

WC0322 – Watercolor Mailbox

And of course, I pulled out my trusty Tombow markers (I’ll link my base set below). These little cards came together quickly, and the simplicity of the challenge made the process so relaxing and fun.

As an added bonus I decided to use the @Callmecraftyal Sheet Load of Card – January 2026 #ShowUsYouSheetLoad, #SUYSJan2026 template to finish off these beautiful images.

💌 Why I Love This Challenge

  • It encourages creativity without pressure
  • It helps me use the supplies I already own
  • It fits perfectly into my stash‑busting goals
  • It’s a great warm‑up before bigger projects
  • And most importantly… it reminds me that art doesn’t have to be complicated

February’s theme will be announced soon, and I can’t wait to see where this journey takes us next.

If you want to join in, grab a few stamps, keep it simple, and let’s create together.
