This past weekend, I had the absolute joy of participating in Stamp Wars alongside two incredibly talented women — @NancyStamps and @tracyshultz. We dove into a whirlwind of creativity using the stunning White Oak Leaf Cluster and Sunflower Farmhouse stamp set from Northwoods Rubber Stamps, and let me tell you — it was a blast from start to glittery finish! Catch my Follow-up video at the following Link.

🌻 Challenge 1: Watercolor Showdown

Our first challenge was to watercolor one of the images from the stamp set. Funny enough, all three of us chose the same image — talk about great minds thinking alike! But the magic was in the mediums:

  • Nancy used her trusty Zig markers link
  • Tracy went with vibrant Karin markers link
  • And I, of course, reached for my beloved Tombow markers link

We all used Northwoods’ watercolor paper — and wow, did it deliver! Each marker glided across the surface like butter, making the coloring process smooth and joyful.

🤹‍♀️ Challenge 2: Helping Hands Hijinks

Next up: the “Helping Hands” challenge. For 5–10 minutes, we had to use these hilarious crafting contraptions that added pure comic relief to the show. Picture three crafters trying to stamp, glue, and glitter with oversized plastic hands — it was chaotic, ridiculous, and absolutely delightful.

✨ Challenge 3: Glitter Galore

Now, glitter is not usually in my comfort zone. But thanks to crafting at my mom’s house (and her magical box of glitter), I had plenty of sparkle to choose from. Northwoods Rubber Stamps is famous for their use of Art Glitter glue and Art Glitter, and their booth at shows is always glowing with shimmer. If you’re a glitter lover, here’s a fun fact: Art Glitter is based in Cottonwood, Arizona — just a few hours from Phoenix. Definitely worth a visit if you’re ever in the area!

I first met Nancy and Tracy on a crafting cruise a year ago, and it’s been such a joy to follow their creative journeys ever since. They’re not only talented but incredibly generous with their knowledge and inspiration. If you’re looking to learn new techniques — especially foiling — you’ll want to follow them:
